Two questions, one vote. First: does "Onda" still work — or do we want something different? Second: does our positioning still work — or do we drop the "made-in-Mozambique" angle entirely?
"We should remove the concept of social network built for Mozambicans. What I notice is that Moz loves what comes from abroad. They will not use because it is a local social media — they will only use because they can get paid / benefits."
Yassin is right — locality is not a benefit. Global apps have already convinced the market that "foreign" means "better". So we stop selling the country and start selling the wallet.
What changes: the brochure tagline, OG image, app-store copy, signup screen, every social post. What doesn't change: the actual product. M-Pesa payouts, data-for-ads, PT-MZ moderation — all still there. We just stop *advertising* them as Mozambican virtues.
onda.mz reportedly availableWe'll run the poll in the group. Two questions — vote separately on each.
How to use this: tap copy whole poll above, paste into WhatsApp + → Poll, send. Or copy individual names if you'd rather hand-build it. Closes when we have 3 votes from Jarryd + Yassin + Angela.
